Poetry and other Lamentations
the rhythm of release --- storm's end
Waltzing Andromeda
comets rain Tchaikovsky
where does music go once it’s caressed
drum corals of ears
grass skin cut glass
clumps of humanity pool helix ripples in cloud
ether’s humus all gather
benighted in dance
measure chorus of waves
from the works we speak
--do our cilia sweep wormholes clean
or buried cochlea
pleasure the ground
gongs of larynx
peel away the hour
and there is no rest
absence of word
who quiets the feet
of this template world
who watches Andromeda dance
